Dear Friends,
For nearly 75 years, Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church has resided at the intersection of Preston Road and Walnut Hill Lane and at the intersection of life and faith, offering those longing to go deeper in faith a place to belong.
Last Sunday evening, we welcomed more than 700 people to campus for a concert featuring our Sanctuary Choir and the famed director and composer Mack Wilberg. Attendees came from every corner of our city and from out of state, and together, we came to know a God through the powerful gift of music. Music has a way of transcending all we know and believe and leading us into deeper faith. I'm grateful for the powerful ministry our music team engages in each week. I know God's good news was heard and experienced on Sunday evening.
Additionally, we learned last week that the Christmas Music Special that aired on KERA in December was again the highest-rated program of the evening. The good news of God reached over 75,000 people! It is another example of how God continues to transform our gifts into ministry through Preston Hollow!
This Sunday, we conclude our "Listening for the Heartbeat of God" series and will explore how we live out what we hear. It will be another impactful Sunday of worship, connection, and study at Preston Hollow. I look forward to seeing you.
With great hope,
Matthew
