As part of the Church’s continuing efforts over the last 18 months to address critical HVAC issues on the north campus used by PHPS and the Church, this week, a new north campus cooling tower was installed just as the old one failed. This work complements the previous boiler replacement in September 2023 and other necessary equipment on the north campus.

The cooling tower’s replacement impacted the ability to cool the north campus for much of this week, and the Church offered PHPS the use of the Church’s other property. PHPS used some areas but kept most of its operations on the north campus on Tuesday. PHPS canceled school on Wednesday and moved to a reduced morning schedule today. Currently, the new cooling tower is being tested and is expected to be fully operational by tomorrow, barring any unforeseen complications.
